Let me start by saying, I am sorry if you get heavy periods, I cannot speak to these postpartum underwear feminine feminine carein regards to super absorbency, but I can say they are comfortable and do give me piece of mind. I wore my first pair to bed last night and they were so comfortable and I was confident about the thickness absorbency that I wore another pair to work today...without any other period protection. I will say that not once have I felt the need to check the back of my pants. Only thing is the panty lines, but you are going to have that with pretty much any underwear that covers your backside, depending on the pants. Otherwise these things are comfortable and give me the confidence to wear them without backups.
