Easily assembled, in under one minute. I would definitely recommend this item for geriatric dogs. Using puppy chow fills up the bowl. Giving them more and making it easier for them to eat. Puppies need nourishment as they grow. Geriatric dogs have a depletion of these nourishments so it's a no-brainer to feed them that puppy food. It gives them the nourishment they are desperately needing. You can also mix in some of your food with their kibble. The bowls are easily washable. And never feed your dogs wet food. It's very damaging to their intestines. It's equivalent to a human being only eating deli three times per day. And the wet food makes the bowls a little more difficult to clean.

Dog Bowl

This product turned my medium size male Cairn Terrier into a DIVA after his first use!!! He started demanding more servings just to use the product. I had to lecture him. I have the frame set at the lowest level for his size. I love it myself. The bowls are a bigger size than his old set and what is great about that for me is that I only need to fill the bowl once a day instead of three! Yay. The stainless bowls wash easily. The frame is hard plastic but made well and sturdy. Exactly as shown in the photos. The old set was stainless steel bowls that sat on a metal frame. The metal started rusting out from him splashing the drinking water. This is why I opted for hard plastic. Wipes clean easily. The rubber buttom prevents it from sliding around. His behavior is much better — I have no idea what made him act like a king!

It's very well made for a plastic bowl stand and comes with two stainless steel dishes. I bought it for my nine year old dog. It took her about three days to get used to it because she was used to having her bowls on the floor. Raised bowls are a much healthier way for an animal to eat. we live full-time in an RV and this stand works perfectly and does not take up a lot of space.
