Good choice for limited mobility

We have an older parent living with us that is mobile, however slow moving. When leaving or returning to the house it was best to lock the door in the open position. Purchased this unit due to its ease-of-use for holding the door open amd releasing. Much easier to use than traditional units that have the sliding lock washer on the shaft.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such an innovative product and helpful to everyone who could use the extra accessibility. I know for my parents they are getting older and this product alleviates the need for them to bend down every time they want to prop the door open. The easy touch of a button without leaning down is extremely useful. It could also be useful if you had your hands full and could not fully extend the door without putting the items down.
