Seatcovers slide all over the place!

These seatcovers are not as I expected. They install easily and look beautiful, but every time I get in and out of the car it slides out of place. The headrest opening is not a snug fit so you can see the overedge stitching even though its meant to be hidden under the headrest covers which, by the way, fit loosely too. I am constantly having to turn back to reposition the covers after getting out of the car inspite of using the gazillion elastic strips that came with them. I even made them tighter by sewing the loops smaller to no avail. My seats are fairly substantial so I can only imagine what these would look like in a compact car. I definately will NOT ever purchase these again!
