It's a little tighter than expected, but the material is still soft and stretchy, so he got over it pretty quickly. I've been washing it once a week since I ordered it, and haven't notice any weakening of the material, and it has very minimal fade. I wash with darks in cold water and machine dry. It was a good buy on my end, hope it works out for other kiddos too.
