Excellent Camera

This is a great camera. I thought the 2x digital zoom was weird when compared to my zs19, but it has other zoom options like enhanced optical which works well and adds to the 30x without using digital and adding distortion. Electronic viewfinder is becoming my favorite part of the camera. Works great and has nearly all the info the screen has. Works automatically when face is close and has a dedicated button. Also many other great features including shot preview before taking next pic. 4K would be nice but the zs60 is about $150 more for that an a few more megapixels, but the review says this has bigger sensors. Love it.

Travel camera

All decisions in photography a trade-off. This camera is light weight and relatively inexpensive with a wide zoom range. The downside is the small sensor. I'm using it as a back up for my DSLR when I travel. Pleased so far. Good for pictures viewed on screen. Not so good for prints.
