Aerator removal tool for Delta Trinsic Faucet

Tool RP73805 to remove aerator works as intended. However, using tool on a faucet that may have corrosion may limit the usability of the tool since it is made of plastic and would break due to torque applied.

Hello! Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! We are happy to hear our product meets your expectations! To clean off debris, calcium and mineral buildup, use a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. You can use a soft toothbrush to scrub the aerator, as well as gather a ZipLoc bag, pour the solution in the bag and tie it around the spout. The fumes from the vinegar will release buildup to make it easier to clean! We appreciate your feedback. Please reach out directly if you have further questions!
