Handle not Flush

Purchased and had plumber install for a remodel. Plumber states it is installed per manufacture specifications but shower handle sticks out about 3/4 inch from the back plate.

Hello Al Vito and thank you for the feedback you posted on the Moen website. The Moen T2692EP Voss Chrome Posi-Temp® Shower Only has a gap between the bottom of the handle and the escutcheon plate to ensure the screws on the plate do not interfere with the operation of the handle. Depending on the installation, it is acceptable for this gap to be between ½” to 1”. Many times this gap is defined by the amount of room behind the shower wall the installer has to position the valve. Our product specialists are available for pre-purchase, installation and warranty assistance.
