LG LT18S2100W 18 cu. ft. Garage Ready Top Freezer Refrigerator, White

I recently had to down size do to a move and bought a LG model # LT 1S2100S. It's great. LG Refrigerators are the best I have to say.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in Oklahoma and have had a competitor's refrigerator in our garage for over 14 years. It was time to upgrade as I was concerned that fridge was not going to survive another hot Oklahoma summer. We have had this refrigeration in the garage for exactly 14 days and on day 1, I had to open the door and make sure it was running because it was SO QUIET. 14 days later, it is still SO QUIET. The other impressive initial impression was that the door would not open on its own from extra weight on the door by placing a gallon of tea on the top drawer and then half gallons of orange juice and chocolate milk on the bottom shelf of door. 2 weeks into owning the fridge, the door has not opened on its own like our old one would occasionally do. The fridge was also delivered on day 1 of a 2 week heat wave and it had no issues keeping items in the fridge cold and the freezer items frozen. I suspect our garage heated up over 120 degrees at certain points over the last 2 weeks. After having the Competitor brand for so many years, I was concerned that only the competitor fridges could survive an Oklahoma summer. I will try and update my review over the course of the summer and let you know if it continued to operate flawlessly over the hot summer months.
