[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After buying a home and deciding to upgrade the appliances in the kitchen, my husband and I discovered the old water valve coming out of the wall for the ice maker was rusted, covered in corrosion and leaking. So instead of calling in a plumber we decided to tackle this project ourselves. This kit comes with everything we needed to do the job and showed us what tools we needed as well. There's detailed instructions on the back of the box that also were a big help. Surprisingly it took us under an hour to complete this project from start to finish. The The valve and pipe are both made of a strong copper and the box is made of thick strong plastic.Now there's no leak and the valve turns easily and has no corrosion. I am very happy with this project and the money we saved from doing it ourselves and not having to call a plumber.
