Tide Plus Bleach Alternative HE Turbo Clean Liquid Laundry Detergent, 92 oz, 59 loads

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start off by saying I'm bleach phobic- ever since I started doing my own laundry I never dabbled in bleach because I hated the smell and had a fear of ruining clothes with bleach stains. Therefore whenever whites got too “worn” looking in our family they usually got tossed. And also there is that age old debate “does this go in the lights or darks?” So when I came ac ross the opportunity to try tide bleach alternative I was very excited. It definitely lived up to the hype I expected. It brightened and cleaned out off white sheets- easy enough test. Next I used it on my husband's old and I mean old stinky hockey jersey- took out stains and stink (not easy)! And the last and hardest test was washing my son's prized lightning McQueen pajamas...I did not use any other stain treatment while testing this product so the results you see are 100% tide on it's own. The formula was thick enough to lift the dirt and after you can see there was no fading at all and it does seem to brighten the colors! All in all I'm very impressed! I would definitely keep a bottle on hand in the laundry room to deal with those tricky loads and brighten your wardrobe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before trying Tide with Bleach Alternative, I had been using Tide Free and Gentle, liquid fabric softener and bleach for whites and tough jobs (but not every load). For this trial, I used just the Tide with Bleach Alternative and dryer sheets. I love the scent of the product, and was pleasantly surprised with its effect on my whites AND my colors (especially blankets and other bedding). There isn't a harsh bleach smell or the concern of a bleach splash or residual droplets ruining an item. My biggest test for this product was our fabric shower curtain liner. With heavy shower and bath traffic from dogs and boys and guests, gross soap scum accumulates and I wash the liner every two weeks. Typically, I use my normal detergent, a cup of bleach and very hot water. For this trial, I only used Tide with Bleach Alternative and very hot water. The top picture is the finished result. I was pleased! I will definitely use this again!
