Not good when small amounts of coolant hit the floor, they loose all traction. Most uncomfortable boot I have ever bought.

This boot typically rates well for comfort. We are sad to hear that this was not your experience. Regarding the coolant, this boot is primarily designed for outdoor use in cold temperatures. It was tested for slip coefficient, but only in wet conditions. No further contaminants were used. This Vibram outsole is designed to withstand cold temps and cold surfaces without cracking. It is oil-resistant, but not slip-resistant. Without more information as to what you need in your boot, I cannot recommend another style that would perform better, but it sounds like you need a boot that is both oil- and slip-resistant. Such a boot would have a softer rubber compound and maybe a different outsole style/surface, to help you maintain sound footing.
