Very reliable and accurate. Picks up Cops running radar over 1 mile on a straight away and 3/4 mile with obstructions. Never seen anything like it. Cops running radar don't stand a chance! So happy with this purchase, I have purchased two. A little pricy, but well worth the money considering the cost of a ticket!

Uniden is the best radar value today (not escort)

After years of Escort and Valentine ownership, I started with a Uniden product in 2017. Then bought an R3. Now I picked up a newer rendition of the excellent R3 called the R4. No complaints. In addition to radar, it excels at alerting drivers to the extortionary, scam ticketing cameras found in such metros as Chicago.
