The strong moisture absorption ability allow beads to begin to change to different colors at 20%RH-50%RH and will complete changing colors to pink. When you find the beads begin to change color, it does not mean the beads saturated with moisture and the beads will continue to absorb the moisture until 50%RH.
- ãGreat Absorbing Capacityã: General estimate when used in an air-tight sealed container: each 40 grams of active, the indicating silica gel can protect up to 30 cubic ft of any enclosed storage space. You can use any of these containers to put the beads into so they can do their job and will find them working well: T-Sac tea filters, tea bags, organza bag, muslin bag, mason jar, or women's hosiery.
- ãEasy to Reactivateã: Each blue indicating bead is 2-4mm in size which has vivid blue color. Check to see if the indicating silica gel beads have changed from Blue-to-Pink in color. Once pink, place the beads into the oven to reactivate for 0.5h-3 hours at 200°F-250°F (do not over 250°F). Depending on silica gel beads condition, they may take shorter than the recommended time. Please check the silica gel beads color.
