This is a very comfortable high back seat. It has a very nice lumbar contour on the back, and it tapers backwards at the top. It's not bulky or restrictive. You can lean back in the seat. The bottom density is perfect for a captain seat or fishing seat. It also folds down and locks to save space. It's very nice overall. If you like a high back seat with a comfortable lumbar support that doesn't hurt your back, take a look at this one. I prefer low back seats, but this one is the best high back I've ever sat in. It's a steal at this price in my view.
