The TBC Winter Claw Extreme Grip MX is a touring, winter tire manufactured for SUV and passenger vehicles.

This model offers excellent winter weather traction. The tire grips the road well and performs superbly in dry, cold temperatures, in snow and on ice. While its use in the winter offers safety, the tire cannot be used in the summer months as the rubber will wear out quicker due to the heat. The tread pattern features a dense siping design which provides additional biting edges in snow. The directional tread pattern with the curved grooves further enhance the safety of the model as they channel water and slush from below the footprint, effectively resisting hydroplaning.

To boost the winter traction of the tire, especially on ice and in loose snow, it can be studded. The tread pattern features 12 stud rows which cover the entire tread area of the tire.
