ZEN SH 5PC Wash Variety Set
A rookie painter here having only experience with cheaper lines of brushes. A few things I like about this set: The handles. They are smooth and comfortable. Cheap wooden handles do not compare. It also makes it easier to clean the handles in the case of misplaced paint. The brushes hold the paint well. I am not experienced enough to understand the differences, all I know is what I see and feel while using them. Packaged nicely in a resealable pouch.

Outstanding brushes!
I received the Royal & Langnickel Zen SH 5 pc Wash Variety Set from BzzAgent for review. These brushes are wonderful! They feel great to hold. They make bold, smooth strokes, wash clean, and have a nice variety of sizes for many different projects. I will definitely be replacing all of my brushes with this brand!

Excellent brushes for all types of paint!
I received these brushes as part of a free sample program - I had been familiar with the Royal & Langnickel paints, but was new to the brushes. This kit provided an excellent variety of brush sizes, and we definitely put them to the test! During an evening of painting, each of the brushes in the kit was used, they gave great coverage and very little streaking. The fine brush did a great job of tight lines and the angled brush made good coverage in tight corners of my artwork. I used these brushes with both acrylic and water color paints, and they cleaned up nicely with soap and water, and air dried soft, not stiff like other brands I have used in the past. There was absolutely no bristles lost during any of the hard use that I had put them through. I will definitely be purchasing more of these brushes, probably in different sizes and I'm pretty sure the ones I have will last quite a while.
