We got these for my 83-year-old mom, who has gone many years without hearing aids because of the expense. These were a tiny fraction of the cost for custom-fitted aids, yet they work just fine. She finds them more comfortable to wear than the ones sold in-store and custom-programmed. It is kind of nice that these can be manually adjusted if a change is needed instead of having to go through the technician. If your aids do not fit you well, definitely call the company. Mom needed a longer little tube for proper fit, so they cheerfully sent us a longer one and a bigger earplug for free. My only gripe for mom is pretty unavoidable. She has limited hand dexterity, so I need to pull out the little battery "drawers" for her every time she takes the aids off. That's an inconvenience, but a small one. Superior battery life compared to other hearing aids and to the slightly cheaper ones sold online by Sam's. We got the high-fidelity ones designed for music, since mom spends so much time listening to the musical TV. She has been well pleased. I'm planning to get a pair for myself and would recommend them to others.
