Terrific driver at any price

First off, I'm a high handicapper so consider the source with this review. Nonetheless, I love this driver. I normally play a Ping G 410 (yes, I know, 6 year old tech), and I don't see any difference between the Ping and the Wilson. The feel, the look, the sound, and even the distance are remarkably similar. If anything, the Wilson might be a bit more forgiving on off center shots, but any real difference between the two is probably more attributable to operator error than the club itself. If you don't mind having a Wilson in the bag instead of a big boy name brand, this club is hard to beat. Even if you are skittish about having a Wilson sharing a bag with your Taylormades and Pings, get a wild head cover and no one will be the wiser.

I have been wanting to try a Wilson Driver and whet I saw the Deal Maple Hill was offering for the previous year model I had to try. I have been playing a Ping G430 Max and a Mizuno ST Max Driver. BBoth are excellent clubs but the Wilson Dynapower Carbon with the Ventus Blue Shaft outperforms both of them. :)
