Wilson Duo Golf Balls, 12 Pack

1st of all Floyd made the purchase by .com from Orange County, Ca. for a 91 year old friend and former mentor, Joe, who lives in Tempe, Az. I had just visited Joe on a trip to see my mother in Youngtown, Az. at which time I did play a round of golf with Joe at Whirlwind in Casa Grande. He got to the golf course ahead of me and picked up my green fees; and wouldn't let me reimburse him; so I treated him to dinner and then thought it would be nice to send him some nice golf balls that would be good for his swing speed etc. As for rating the Golf balls; I think that as a user myself; I can give you a very objective critique. The Duo does seem to provide a little extra pop when hit correctly and they are soft enough to be playable around the greens also. However; I did break two balls from my original dozen that I purchased; which Wilson replaced with a whole dozen. However; Wilson has not totally corrected this durability problem as I have broken two more since from other purchases. I only have a 90 to 95 swing speed; so it is not "sheer" power doing in the ball; but poor quality or quality control. I doubt that I would use in a tournament or any important match; but with constant observation at the end of any hole that I do use; I can enjoy playing and even received another dozen for father's day from myself. If the ball was more durable and gave the same results; you would have a product that is truly worth the millions of dollars that you spend on advertising.

I bought a dozen of these balls because of the good reviews on a site called My Golf Spy. I'll join in on the very good reviews; I've played several rounds with these balls now and they are very good performers. At a price of less than $20 per dozen, they are an excellent value.
