Wild Harvest Parakeet, Canary & Finch Daily Nutrition Blend, 5 lbs.

We purchased our Green Cheek Conure, after losing our 1st one at age 15 from following some lady 10 yrs ago on YouTube who seemed to be an expert. She encouraged Conure owners to feed their parrots, tomatoes and pineapple in spite of what I heard from my mom who purchased Kapono and fed him from a baby till she gave him to us when he was five. One of the things she said, was never, ever feed him, tomatoes, or avocado. So when this lady said we could feed Conures tomatoes, and pineapple I was excited to let him try this. Figured my mom didn't have YouTube to learn about other foods they could eat. I regret not telling my mom about my new find. Kapono was dead the next day. Sorry for the rant, but hopefully that will help others. Anyway, went to a pet store in Saint Charles Missouri, about five years ago to purchase our 2nd Green Cheek who was about eight months old. We started him on a diet like the pet store fed him just seeds and then bought a giant bag of pellets to transition to better food and he absolutely hated it after finishing about half the bag. He wouldn't eat anymore. Still won't. He has always gone back to these seeds from Walmart, which we mix with sunflower seeds. He loves it!

My birdies LOVE this stuff! It's like they're addicted to it! I've been feeding this to my parakeets for MANY years now. The large bag goes a long ways and the price is well worth it. Shipping was fast and reasonable price! So glad Walmart supplies this!
