These cables did not reliably deliverable even 45W of power. My laptop's peak power draw is 45W. With nothing else connected to the laptop and the laptop connected only to the docking station which is in turn fed by a 65W PSU, my laptop constantly had to draw on its own batter to compensate for the lack of power provided by the dock via this cable. In heavy usage, my laptop would sometimes completely deplete its battery. I replaced this cable with a better quality one and the problem went away.
