I applied it very thin and stretched one can over two cars. However if you want to get one car really clean just one can will do the trick. Main thing is just getting your hands down in the cracks and wiping it down. It removes all dirt, gunk, grime, etc. Just spray on, wait 5 to 10 minutes and then wipe down. Then very lite rinse, I didn't rinse, it was fine already.
