This organic dark brown sugar is so moist and rich with molasses flavor. It's unlike any brown sugar we've ever used, and adds a richness and depth of flavor my BBQ rubs. I used it on salmon as well as brisket on the smoker - delish! I can't wait to try it in cookies this fall

This is the 2nd time I've purchased this brand of organic dark brown sugar. It's got the perfect balance of sweet and dark sugar taste, which I prefer over plain white sugar. The dark brown type tastes great in beverages like hot and cold teas and coffee, but the taste is too strong for pale and white teas of any kind. I like the packaging of this sugar, too, because brown sugar lasts the longest and stays the softest when kept inside plastic. BTW, bags work better than containers. I tried storing dark brown sugars in a push-top, lock-out canister once. I used a ceramic disc, but what a nightmare! The sugar became so hard, even the microwave and a hammer couldn't soften it or break it down.
