This is a good choice, it is durable, all metal. Make sure you have an battery powered phillips screw driver there are a lot of screws to do by hand, not hard to put together at all but it will make it easier. Only holds about 40 pairs, not 50. I bought two for my wife and am extremely satisfied.

This unit was very easy to assemble. I find it holds shoes perfectly. I especially like that the unit has wheels. This allows me to slide and move the shoe tower within in my closet without any of the shoes falling through the bars. I have lots of shoes and this is an efficient way to store them. Very easy to assemble. I already had one and I really love it for shoes. I will order another one eventually for additional shoes. I bought this one for boots and its not working out as well due to the varying leg lengths of the boots. This rack is soooo much more sturdy and eye appealing than the racks with the plastic sides. I appreciate the rolling wheels.I am very satisfied.
