Its an easy install in under 20 minutes

This is a nice little thermostat. Easy to install and it comes with a medium sized wall plate to cover the area where the old thermostat was. The base plate has a circuit board with the terminals marked where the colored wires go. One thing not really shown is the red wire goes with either RH or RC while leaving the jumper wire in place.

A New Thermostat and No Problems.

I bought the W-R to replace another that has functioned well for many decades because the "anticipator" no longer seemed adjustable. Its long service persuaded me that the more expensive digital was a frill. The accompanying instructions I found clear and complete. I exercised care in mounting with a bubble level so that enough of the four leads came through to reach the screw-down terminals before I finally located the instrument. Confident there were no shorted leads and that the connections were correct, I completed the mounting and only then restored power at the control panel. The new thermostat looks fine and is working well.
