The motor is a Whirlpool OEM replacement. It was half the cost of our local Hemet Appliance Discount store. Fast shipping. Great Product. Also had clear instructions on how to wire up the 32 year old Dryer to the new motor. Note: Wires on dryer have markings and color coded (ex 4m) on wires, just match up to the numbed terminals on the motor. Working like a champ again and I didn't have to spend 700 dollars on a new smart dryer,
