Westlake CR960A 11R22.5 148/145M H Commercial Tire

When you are on a budget and you need to replace 9 tires because of age and sun damage you can't beat these tires. We got these because they were inexpensive compared to other tires, they are 16 ply so they are more puncture resistant and handle a heavier load than a 12 or 14 ply and they were available through Walmart in the quantities we needed. Because they are new tires I expected a higher rolling resistance than the 15 year old seasoned tires that they replaced but we actually got up to 55 miles an hour about 1/4 mile sooner than the old ones. The tires took about the same amount of tire weights to balance them as the Michelin ZX tires they replaced so the tires are about as uniformly made as premium tires. As for the durability I will never know since as a former professional Semi-Truck driver I would replace my tires about every 250K miles and I will never drive this 40 foot long MCI bus that many miles in what is left in my lifetime. Again, as far as I can tell these are great tires for any price, but only time will tell and chances are I will replace them due to sun damage rather than wear or manufaturing defects.
