GREAT PRICE - LOW MOISTURE CONTENT

Just the facts: The first thing I noticed about Western Premium Smoking Chips is that they did not cause any noticeable amount of moisture build up in the smoker, which for me means they are dried long enough during the manufacturing process to remove most, if not all of the natural moisture in the wood. This has been an issue I've had over the years with other popular brands of smoking chips not dried long enough in my opinion. Moisture (black liquid smoke) would drip down leaving a nasty, bitter taste on the food. With that said, we honestly enjoy the flavor and the short time it takes for the chips to start smoking in our Little Chief smoker. We'll continue using Western Premium Smoking Chips as long as they keep the price reasonable. - Happy Smoking!
