Welch's Fruit Snacks Gluten-Free Mixed Fruit Soft Fruit Snacks, .8 oz, 22 Count

My husband loves these Welches fruit, snacks, and was eating them every day, but stopped because of the dye that was used in them. That has recently been removed and replaced with food base dyes so he has started eating them again. Thanks for making them healthier.

I am ADDICTED to these fruit snacks!! They are so yummy. BUT! Boy oh boy are those little bags hard to open!! I found myself getting so frustrated when trying to get them open LOL! Here's a hint… Look for the little cut on one of the edges of each bag. When you find the cut, just tear it apart, splitting the cut in half. Walla! Works every time!!! I remember when I figured out it wasn't just ME that had a hard time opening these little buggers. It was definitely a relief, knowing I wasn't the only one getting defeated by a small bag. I was waiting to board an airplane and offered a lady next to me one of the fruit snacks. Honestly, it was hard to miss the lady staring at my box of fruit snacks when she was basically drooling over them. Ha! If anyone has eaten these yummy fruit snacks, then they will understand why the woman looked the way she did. 😄 when I offered her a bag she took it out of my hand quite quickly. Now I was the one staring at her because she spent the longest time trying to get it open LOL and that's when it hit me… It's not me, It's the bags!!! I thought to myself that there has to be an easier way to open these darn things. I mean, why would a company make a product and then put them in packaging that nobody can open with an ease?!?!? They wouldn't!!! So I used my noggin and inspected one of the little bags. Ah ha! That's when I noticed the little cut on the bag. Anyone reading this is probably thinking “This is a very strange review” yes I agree, but if you buy these snacks then you know what I am talking about. I bet most of you will find this review helpful. MAYBE, after people read my review, they'll start buying the fruit snacks again because now they won't look like a toddler wrestling a container, trying to get what's inside. You're welcome!
