Having owned the kettle style as well as the Q300, the Spirit SX-315 with wifi connection makes cooking more precise. We all have our methods for determining whether food is cooked to our liking, but the temp probe makes it so much more precise each and every time.

Smart features are actually really useful!
We love our new Weber Grill! Takes out all the guess work out with the integrated smart sensor and digital temp reading. Smart features are actually really useful! Definitely gives me the confidence to try out different meats/proteins. Easy assembly. Accurate cooking readings. Good size for our family. My only concern is how well the thermometer probe will hold up as it's already burnt up towards the end of the metal mesh cord. It's still giving us an accurate reading for now but I've read lots of reviews of it not working after a few uses so definitely concerning. The Weber connect app is good but I wish they would reconsider the verbiage especially with beef, ground setting calling the doneness level as “well done” when it's more like a medium. Overall still very happy with the purchase!

This was the first time I used this grill. I barbecued the best 8 oz. filet mignon steaks ever. The electronics on this unit are phenomenal. The cooking directions were right on the money. Suggestions of temperature , when to flip, obtaining great grill marks along with alerting me when the steaks were done made me look like a pro.
