I have had at least three of these little Weber gas BarBQues, so I thought I knew what I was buying online. Things have changed since I bought the last one. First, there's much more assembly, rather than just putting the lid on, I had to assemble the handles. If it wasn't for some YouTube video, I'd have never figured it out. Secondly, Webber has made a new branding for their smaller gas barbecues. There's a Q 1000 and a Q1200. The only difference between them is that the 1000 is only able to use small camping propane tanks, because, unlike my older ones, it doesn't come with a converter hose to use on a larger propane tank, as in the past. I stopped at four large chain hardware stores and only one had a hose. Whoops! turns out you had to use a brand name one from Webber, which no one carried. Back to the Amazon website and I had the right one within a day. Works great! But it cost me another 40 bucks. There goes my Walmart discount. None of this was in the product description. Thus, the reason I will only use Amazon in the future. Really? I'm so tired of companies trying to trick us into thinking we are getting the same thing we bought before, and giving us lower valued items that waste our time to put together or track down parts. This box should have read "BBQ KIT" reflecting all the labor Weber pushed back on the customer. I'm at a time in my life when my days are literally numbered. I hate spending precious moments doing unpaid corporate labor. Fortunately, the BarBQue will, no doubt, outlive me, and I'll never have to go through this again!
