I'm new to sewing, so I can't compare this fabric to others. But, I like it. The colors are a bit different that I expected, but match my sofa so I'm happy. I'd say the main color is a light aqua blue. The material is soft and kind of light - not real thick or heavy; but not too thin (not see through or anything). I bought is to make throw pillow for my new sofa, and I think it will be perfect for that. But I think it could also be used for light curtains or clothing.
