Simpson 61085 MegaShot 3400 PSI 2.5 GPM KOHLER SH270 Gas Pressure Washer

I've been frustrated for some time trying to find a good value pressure washer. I wanted a dependable Honda Motor, A Triplex Pump and more interested in GPM than pressure. I was ready to spend $900 for what I wanted but then began to compromise. OK, Simplex seems to make the majority of pressure washers so that is good. No Honda motor but I felt the Kohler OHV engine was a good second place. As far as the pump? No Triplex, its an axial but I can only hope if I keep it wet that it will last a long time. FACT: So many people don't understand that the pump must be lubricated and cooled with water as soon as you start it. BTW - I'm not sure this pump has a external bypass to leak water for cooling while idling so watch for that as well. Extended idling. The simple Bad Part? I misread the on/off fuel and so ended up trying the pull starter like 10 times. I gave up and once inside wondered why my hand hurt and found my finger was skinned from the pull starter handle. There was a sharp rubber plastic molding trim and it took the skin right off the side of my middle finger. I took a razor blade and sandpaper to remove that. Other than that, this pressure washer offers good value and power. Plenty of power.

good value Simpson easy assembly(no leaks) quality lacks nothing,sh kholer engine is commercial ( crank bearings,steel sleeve, low oil monitor) oil level on is dead on (impossible to go wrong)oem axel,cam pump is good.Wheels commercial quality, and shipping was supper fast Looking forward to many years of good service.
