Mayfair Lannon® Slow Close Elongated Enameled Wood Toilet Seat in White Adjustable and Never Looosens

I really like the wooden seats best. You can sit on them and they feel solid instead of bending / caving in like the plastic seats. The one I had previously had snap/slide on hinge to the plastic bolts, made for easy pop off and clean. This does not have that feature, so I didn't know if I'd like it or not. Turns out, I like it better. We seldom popped the seat off; it was easy enough to just clean with it on, but the old style slid around more. This seat stays put. It also installs easily. It has breakaway plastic bolts. They have an easy to turn nut on the top that breaks away when it's the proper torque. I was worried about over tightening, but no problem. Broke off at right torque, and, as said, doesn't slide around. (there is a nut below that which can be used for removal / re-installation) . Seems like prices of toilet seats have gone up, but so has everything. But this is comparable to others. So: Strong wooden seat; stable mount; slow close hinges; easy installation. Simple, attractive. Elegant. I would not mind having this in all my bathrooms as / if others wear out.

Really solid, well-made toilet seat with a wood core and smooth white enamel finish. It feels sturdy and solid. The slow-close hinges work great, but installation can be a little tricky when trying to get the hinges flat and line up the overall seat properly. Overall, it noticeably improved the look of my toilet and feels worth the price.
