Great sound
I put this on a 2014 F150 with the 5.0 V8. It sounds great. I originally installed it with the resonator deleted, but it produce a loud howl from 1500 to 2100 rpm. Which with the 6 speed auto transmission it stays in that range through most of the shifts. At cruising speed (70) The howl was back. (2000 RPM). So I added the resonator back and the sound now is perfect. The howl is gone and I just get the rumble I was looking for. Now if you want that loud Howl sound that vibrates underpasses then keep the resonator off, but if you use your truck as a daily driver and just want your V8 to sound like a V8 then this Flowmaster sounds great paired with the stock resonator.
