We get our drinking water a well on our property. It is very hard water and has a bit of a aftertaste. After setting up the water filter, I tested our tap water with the tester provided with this filter system and it showed 221 ppm. I tested a glass of filtered water and it went to 0 ppm. The water tastes great and it does not leave any hard water residue on my Keurig or Mr. Coffee coffee makers. I feel better about the water we are drinking and cooking with. *Just note that it does not include a base. We had previously purchased a ceramic base and it works perfectly with it.

Perfect fit!

I was a little hesitant after reading some other reviews. But I took a chance and I can happily say this met and exceeded my expectations. We started out with a little zero water pitcher and everyone in the house was tired of refilling it every couple minutes. This is exactly what I wanted. It works great. After reading the directions I had to laugh at any of the negative reviews. They clearly did not follow directions. Over 10 years, I started with a smaller one. As you produced larger ones, I upgraded every time.
