Big sound in a slim package

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the LG SP8YA for about 2 weeks now and it's been a very good sound system. Setup was extremely easy. I just plugged the power in and the sound bar and the subwoofer were paired automatically wirelessly without any issues. I connected the soundbar to my LG 75NANO80UPA 75 inch TV using an HDMI cable using the eARC port on my TV and that was all the set up that I needed. Set up was super easy, it took about 7 minutes from unboxing to getting the soundbar working and paired with my TV. The soundbar comes with a remote, but it's unnecessary as you can control the volume using your TV remote through the eARC connection. There are buttons to increase the base or to calibrate the sound, but after the initial set up, the remote is not all that useful. The design of the soundbar is very slim and modern. Everything is in a dark gray and you can tell the finishes are of high quality materials. The package comes with wall mounting brackets, but I just put it on the ledge behind the TV. The sound is amazing. Even though the sound bar and woofer are only two units, LG does a good job of projecting surround sound from the many speakers on the soundbar. These is especially true if you play some Dolby sample videos on youtube to hear all 5.1 channels on the Dolby Atmos system. Added bonus is that I can use the speakers with Alexa or Google Assistant so they are not just TV speakers. I can stream music from my phone or my laptop. The integration was seamless and set up time was minimal. I would not hesitate to recommend this soundbar to my family and friends. the sound to match my OLED tv

I love my OLED tv and was completely happy with it. I decided to get the soundbar to see if I could hear the difference. The set up was simple and I did a comparison of the sound with the tv and the soundbar. There is no comparison. The sound with the soundbar is amazing!!! The full range immersive sound is so good. You don'r realize how important rich clear sound is until you hear it.
