Easy to setup and use.

Easy setup, flawless operation so far. I found that using the USB port to be the best and fastest way to load initial data in. I like that the unit is extremely quiet and non-intrusive to my daily activities. Since I'm the only one that's going to use it, I didn't want the hassle of setting up a NAS and wanted something that would plug-and-play. WD My Cloud Home fit my needs. On a side note, it was sad to think that all of my life fits in 1TB. I need to get out more.

Not ay lot of personal NAS hard drives out there, I had no choice of buying this one. But it does the job. Hopefully, they don't discontinue the Home app like they did for the previous model.

It's not an all in one automatic solution

It is loud, reverbs through the house. No automatic iPhone back up which is why I bought it. Figured having my own cloud was better than paying for storage elsewhere. It backs up pictures that's about it.
