I was doubtful about this really working. I use sticky adhesive for collage quilting and inevitably some will get on your iron . This did a great job in cleaning my iron. I had an old iron that I bought at a thrift store. I was so pleased with this product that I bought myself a new iron knowing that I would not ruin it.
