Walmart Paper Lawn Bag, 5ct

I use these bags year round and have recommended them for our city's green waste program They are much easier to use than plastic bags which tend to rip open and do not stand upright without other equipment. I use them for leaves, twigs, and tree/shrub clippings. They can be placed inside plastic bags when the weather is wet. My only complaint is that I cannot consistently find them at my local Wal-Mart store and would like to be able to order them on-line.

I just got done using these bags to collect the leaves and for disposing of all the yard waste (pulled annuals, cut perennials, etc) in preparation for winter and THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY GREAT! Once opened, they stand upright and it is easy to dump the collected yard waste into the top opening because the opening stays open, unlike a plastic bag that you have to struggle with to keep open wide enough. They are especially easy to use if you have 'garden claws' for leaf collection because you can use the claw to press the leaves downward in the bag, thus compressing them and making room for even more leaves. I must have put about 2 to 3 times the amount of leaves in one of these bags as compared to a single plastic bag that I used to use. I am going to buy more of these bags, for sure! Oh, and they are easy to carry, as well. You can't go wrong.
