Beware of phone number transportability

This not necessarily a Walmart issue except Walmart Family Mobile changed from T-Mobile to Verizon for its phone service. Transporting your phone number to another phone is not always possible. If your phone number is an AT%26T or T-Mobile number, it does not transfer to other carriers. It turns into a big hassle if you don't use a GSM phone instead of a CDMA.

When I got this phone, I couldn't activate it because It wasn't properly scanned at the store. I was taken through a lot of changes (ordering a Walmart family mobile sim, contacting customer support.. etc) but the phone is on after going through everything. Just because this phone is so nice, I'd say it was worth it (barely).. it comes with a stylus, has 128 gb, 5g ram, and runs smoothly. save yourself some time. maybe don't get this phone

great phone...bad 3rd party merchant

purchased this phone for my husband. We are already Walmart Family Mobile customers and I have this modle phone already. The phone itself was perfect however being sold on Walmart site 3rd party VIPOUTLET was not. The phone eas not scanned properly before they shipped to me so it was useless.
