5 stars stylo 5 :D

just bought the stylo 5. my old phone fell in my cats water bowl and drowned :( it was a stylo 3. had it since it first came out. great phone, it had some serious mileage on it and would not have replaced it but it was beyond repair. so decided to upgrade. this stylo 5 has some heft to it. the brightness of the screen auto adjusts, two thumbs up on that. power button is on the side instead of the back, so it thankfully no longer takes a screen shot every time you turn the screen of and on. has fingerprint sensor. the screen itself is beautiful. the settings, navigation of the phone and included apps are tweaked for the better. the pen is more secure feeling. has a small key for access to memory card slot >:( non removable battery. keyboard cursor magnifies. I'm a big fan of the stylo series. would have got the stylo 6 but it was not available on my plan. every phone ive owned I had it for years at a time and have used and abused them all and have been ultimately very pleased with all of them even tho they weren't top of the line phones. the quick note with the pen is handy for making, well... a quick note, use this feature regularly. the camera is so so. speakers are good. the over all look and feel of the phone is super nice, so it's not a galaxy. charger port is a type c. has a built in radio app you use with headphones. it has a multi window feature, where you can have two tabs, one on top of the other, open at the same time. an all around nice affordable phone. hate that my old phone died but have been pleasantly surprised by the stylo 5 and like it so much decided to type this long review. 5 stars because I really like it and the only meh about it is the camera but is not at all a deal breaker in loving this phone, at worst maybe give it a 4.5 nice built ins on this phone they stream lined it nicely. (my personal favs for customizing are nova launcher paired with sesame search, tigad icons, and amoled live wallpaper by maxelus all on Google play make for, in my opinion a super sweet phone) wow I still have 880ish characters left.... the screen is slightly taller. you can uninstall unwanted apps, minus fb, can only disable. doing a storage clean up is easier. this phone has less useless built ins to get rid of. was hoping it would have a better widget for the notes. the sub menus in the settings are easy to use. bright flashlight. home button bar only comes in pastel colors, no white buttons on black bar but you can double tap the bar when you have a window open and the bar disappears. good looking screen even in daylight. does screenshots by holding volume down and the power button in unison for a beat. YouTube, with premium, plays in a little window while you look at other tabs or swipes away if you don't want it there. battery has lasted me all day playing my playlist with videos. headphone/aux port, pen and charger port (wish it had a cover) are all on the bottom of the phone. and you have finally reached the bottom of this review :D

Couple of shortcomings but overall a great phone

Had a Samsung phone before this and decided to go with LG since I had them several years ago and they were great phones back then too. Got this one back in August and so far it's a great phone. Only a couple of things to where I couldn't give this phone 5 stars. Every once in a while, it'll open random apps like Instagram without me even tapping the icon. I just close it out and go to my recent apps and close everything. I don't think the signal strength is very accurate in that I can make/receive calls with no problem, but it shows as the phone not having a signal. With the Samsung, I had 4-5 bars all over the place, but not with the LG (but I still get service all over the place just as well just doesn't show it). I like the fingerprint scanner and responds great. Calls come in nice and clear. I would recommend this phone without hesitation. Good job LG!
