This fan is awesome it is reasonably quiet and the way it circulates air is phenomenal. I live on the 2nd floor condominium in the deep south and it gets really hot and humid. With this fan I can either turn the ac on at a higher temperature with fan on or turn it on for an hour and then off for a surprising good amount of time. Many nights and early mornings all I need is this fan with no ac at all. It was well worth the $100 investment.

I am very happy that I bought the Vornado 660 Large Air Circulator. We have been having a relentless heat wave with high humidity. When I get home after work, I focus the air circulator at the chair where I am sitting. Even at low speed, the air circulator cools me down within minutes. After a while I need to put on a sweatshirt. What a wonderful feeling!! I am the proverbial happy customer.
