Vornado 623DC Energy Smart Mid-Size Air Circulator Fan with Variable Speed Control

I bought the “regular” non “Energy Smart” fan , which is a great fan, but then upon arrival I realized it only has a 3-position power switch and even the lowest setting was enough sound that you could hear it in the background of work video meetings. So I did more research and found out the “Energy Smart” variant comes with the variable power switch like I remember Vornado having when I was a kid. It's honestly much nicer - the fan is nearly silent at all but the highest setting, and at the lowest setting it's completely silent but still creates a nice cooling air flow.

We have owned Vornado fans for more than 25 years. Had some problems with one about 10 years ago, and Vornado fixed it for free, including shipping to and from our residence. I had been told that Vornado no longer made the variable speed fans, so imagine my surprise when I looked online and found several variable speed Vornado fans. I couldn't be happier!!!
