Taking my Vital Protein Daily Greens every day has become the highlight of my routine. I am getting two servings of fruits and vegetables and the green apple flavor makes it truly enjoyable. I love this product!

The unflavored was not really our favorite flavor, but the apple was much tastier. that said, the unflavored still is better than most brands because Vital Proteins was smart enough not to put wheatgrass into their greens drinks. Why these companies want to put wheat/barley/etc. grasses into drinks is a mystery - we aren't cows after all. That said, the apple flavor does indeed taste like apple. The nutrient profile seems decent - and it is nice they are fairly transparent with regards to how much of each class of ingredient there is and the basic nutritional breakdown. In terms of texture it is not bad and the powder dissolves rather well, even if we need to stir it occasionally if it is allowed to sit for a while. They could have been more transparent about the source and type of 'natural flavors', however. And they also do not indicate how the product was created - Was it low temperature processing? Was it freeze-dried? This matters A LOT because it determines how much of the nutrients would be preserved in processing. Note that very few companies include this information, sad to say. Overall, it is a good tasting product, especially relative to other brands that contain wheatgrass. If you have a greens drink with wheatgrass, unless they put a tiny bit in there, it will taste nasty. There is no getting around that. Fortunately Vital Proteins does not use this ingredient so it does taste better than most, especially the apple flavored. We will continue to get this product in the future.
