This is just what I needed. I was using wedge pillows in between my mattress and the plaster wall, but pillows wouldn't stay in place. So I ordered this "cushioned" head board and it stays in place. Brilliant idea for a headboard

First, it is removable. It is stuffed fabric with velcro strips on the back. Installation was easy, just peel and stick. It is about 1 1/2 inches thick, very cushy and comfortable. It looks good immediately upon hanging. To remove, just point your fabric steamer at a corner of the velcro, heat and peel off. Very versatile, looks good, comfortable.
