This is good to cook beans and collards in. A true great value. I use this for my family new years day meal. It's the smell of the new year This is a traditional fare in the south U.S. As well as in the Pacific. I have to research the significance of the peas, rice, and the collard greens but I think it is similar for both. I'm a Pacific Islander. Bacon and corn muffins complete the meal.
