Village Hearth Rye Bread, Unseeded 16 oz

I checked the expiration date because the bread was so dry I thought for sure it was expired but it wasn't? This is terrible Rye bread it hardly has any flavor it's really dry and as soon as any moisture touches the bread it falls apart. I made a sandwich with mayo, tomatoes, lettuce and turkey. By the time I sat down with this sandwich it was already falling apart. It didn't hardly have any flavor and it had no substance generally rye bread is more substantial and can hold up to a sandwich this stuff just fell apart. I tried toasting it, it lasted a little longer but again once the moisture of the tomatoes and mayo soaked into the bread it fell apart. Very dissatisfying.
