A best buy for the price. Top quality item. Haven't used in his bath, but he loves being groomed with this brush. He brings it to us. We also use it when he gets those Frenchie breathing spells. Rather than holding a nostril closed, we brush him with this. It calms him down, and relaxing seems to stop the breathing difficulty. It also removes a lot of hair. BTW, the cats like it, too!

Excellent brush

I rescued a 80 lb. lab mix dog who sheds his hair like crazy. I've tried expensive brushes. I've tried cheap brushes. I've tried brushes with different kinds of bristles. But this one! I'm very impressed and my dog loved the feel of it. I thought I would mind that it didn't have a handle but without one was much better. I don' t know how this would work on long haired dogs but for a lab it's super.

Use on bigger dogs

I ordered this by mistake for a miniature Schnauzer and I cannot use this on him because bristles are too hard for his skin , but it's big enough to put in your hand to use on a dog and it needs to be used on a bigger dog than a miniature schnauzer!
